Apple reportly filed a patent application for it's foldable smartphone

After Samsung came out with their foldable smartphone, Apple is now reportedly filed a patent application for their first foldable smartphone.

The patent which was published by the US patent and trademark office, describes a foldable phone with a display that can be ‘opened and closed like a book’ and comes amid recent rumours going around is that they might team up with LG on the latest model.

The technology will redefine the smartphone and gadgets market as this idea had been in the works for a long time.The patent was published in November, 2017 by the US Patent and Trademark Office.

According to them -‘An electronic device may have a flexible portion that allows the device to be folded. the device may have a flexible display.’ ‘The flexible display may have a bending region that allows the display to bend along a bend axis when the device is folded.‘
